Indira Gandhi is undoubtedly one of the most influential political persona of India. She was a huge central figure of the Indian National Congress party, and to date the only female Prime Minister of India. She was known for her political ruthlessness and unprecedented centralization of power. Although her glorified political affairs and affiliations are very well known to India but as far as her personal life is concerned (which happened to be full of controversies) everything is still under wraps.
Today we will be talking about all the scandalous and shocking revelations ever made about the personal affairs of Indira Gandhi that were necessarily kept as a secret to protect her political image.
1. She was ruled out from Tagore’s ashram because she had an affair with a teacher
Indira Gandhi was admitted to Oxford University but was suspended from there for non-performance. Then she was admitted to Shantiniketan University but again, Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore ruled her out for bad conduct. In the book, The Nehru Dynasty it is mentioned that Indira’s first love was with her German teacher at Shantiniketan. Her affair with her German teacher was allegedly the real reason for her being expelled.
2. She changed her name to Maimuna Begum and converted to Islam to marry Feroze Khan
Indira Gandhi fell in love with Feroze Khan, the son of a grocer named Nawab Khan who used to supply wines to Motilal Nehru’s house in Allahabad. The then Governor of Maharashtra, Dr. Shriprakash warned Jawaharlal Nehru, about Indira’s illicit relations with Feroze Khan. Feroze Khan was then in England and was sympathetic towards Indira. Soon enough she changed her religion and became a Muslim woman, She and Feroze Khan got married in a London mosque.
3. Feroze Gandhi who is considered to be a Parsi, was actually a muslim by birth.
Feroze Khan’s mother’s family name was Ghandy. His mother was a Parsi before her marriage to his Muslim father Nawab Khan. As inter-religion marriages were illegal at that time, her mother converted to Islam before her marriage and therefore their son Feroze Khan is a Muslim and not a Parsi by birth.
4. Nehru made Feroze change his surname for Indira’s political carrier
Jawaharlal Nehru did not approve of her daughter’s marriage to Feroze Khan. Afraid that Indira might loose the possibility of becoming the heir to the future Nehru dynasty, it was Nehru who made Feroze khan change his surname into Gandhi. This was done by a renowned lawyer from Allahabad, Sir Sapru, a close associate of Motilal Nehru, by presenting an Affidavit.
5. Her second son Sanjay Gandhi is allegedly from a different man known as Mohammad Yunus
According to the book “The Nehru Dynasty” (ISBN 10:8186092005) by K. N. Rao, Feroze Khan is not the father of her second son known as Sanjay Gandhi. He was actually the son of another Muslim gentleman named Mohammad Yunus whom she had an affair with.the birth of her fist son Rajiv Gandhi, Indira and Feroze were not divorced but they lived separately. It was interesting that Sanjay Gandhi’s marriage with Menaka took place in Mohammad Yunus’ house in New Delhi. Even In Yunus’ book, “Persons, Passions & Politics” (ISBN-10: 0706910176) one can know that infant Sanjay was circumcised following the Islamic customs.
6. Indira Gandhi had many romantic affairs
The book “The Life of Indira Nehru Gandhi” (ISBN: 9780007259304)written by Katherine Frank provides an insight into some of Indira Gandhi’s other love affairs. It is written in the book that Indira’s first love affair was with her German teacher at Shantiniketan. Later she had an alleged affair with her father’s secretary M. O. Mathai, then it was her yoga teacher Dhirendra Brahmachari and at last with the Foreign Minister Dinesh Singh.
7. Indira Gandhi allegedly had a hand in her son Sanjay Gandhi’s death
Apparently, Sanjay Gandhi knew about his real father and used to blackmail his mother, Indira. He often misused the deep emotional control he had over his mother. Sanjay Gandhi’s death was mysterious as it was a new plane that dove to a crash. And it happened because there was no fuel. But the flight register showed that the fuel tank was made full just before the take-off. When the news of his death reached Indira Gandhi, her first question was ‘Where are his keys and his wrist watch?’ Her reaction was absolutely shocking and weird that made her a potential suspect.
8. Indira Gandhi was affianced towards the Mughals
In 1968, as the Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi went to an official visit to Afghanistan. Former Foreign Minister K Natwar Singh accompanied her as an IFS officer in duty. Later in his book “Profile and Letters” (ISBN: 8129102358) he stated that Indira Gandhi visited Babur’s burial place and told him that “Today we have had our brush with history.” Babur was the founder of Mughal rule in India, from which the Nehru-Gandhi dynasty have descended.
9. Sanjay Gandhi had slapped his mother, Indira six times at a dinner party
Prize-winning journalist Lewis M Simons did a story about Indira Gandhi in the Washington Post. According to the story, an unnamed source claimed that at a private dinner party, Sanjay Gandhi had slapped his mother, Indira Gandhi, six times. This slapping incident allegedly occurred some time prior to the Emergency in 1975. Because of the censorship, no Indian newspaper reported this incident but many other foreign media outlets picked up the story. Simons was ordered to leave the country on five hours notice but he stated that he was not expelled for the slapping story but some other report he did about displeasement of Indian Soldiers with the emergency.
Above mentioned details about Indira Gandhi’s personal life are not our site’s views. We have no intention to hurt somebody’s feelings or to mud-sling on our political leaders. We are definitely not suggesting that the allegations made are right or even wrong. This article was written just to provide an insight into the scandalous life of our political leaders.

FINEST VIDEOS TILL NOW
Tracklist: ‘Hello’, ‘Someone Like You’, ‘Wannabe’, ‘All I Ask’, ‘Monster’, ‘Rolling In The Deep’
We gotta have to start with Adele. She is indeed the most charismatic, genuine and hilarious celebrity on the show until now. She won over everybody’s heart with her breathtaking and miraculous voice while belting out some of her greatest classics ever. And this wasn’t even the best part. It was when she showed-off her raping skills on the Nicki Minaj song with the most wondrous expressions. She totally nailed it. And the lady even tickled our funny bone with her getting straight up drunk story and downing the whole tea.
2. Lady Gaga
Tracklist: ‘Perfect Illusion’, ‘Bad Romance’, ‘Edge of Glory’, ‘Born This Way’, ‘Liquid Dreams’, ‘Poker Face’, ‘Million Reasons’
Lady Gaga was the most recent guest on the show and it would be right to say that she’s got a bunch of straight out melody tunes in her back pocket. Like seriously, she definitely got us with her amazing singing and hand moves while harmonising her classics and tracks from her new album, “Joanne”. And yes she swears within the first couple of seconds of the video. Her driving license story made us laugh out loud. She even take over the wheels and it got rough. And James wore Gaga’s some of the most iconic outfits. Even the meat dress !
3. Justin Bieber
Tracklist: ‘Baby’, ‘Boyfriend’, ‘Where Are Ü Now’, ‘The End Of The Road’ ‘Never Say Never’, ‘What Do You Mean’, ‘Stronger’, ‘Ironic’, ‘Sorry’
Justin Bieber is the only celebrity who has done more than 1 carpool karaoke sessions and honestly we just can’t get enough of him. He is probably James’s favourite star. Justin has sung his biggest hits ever starting from Baby, the most controversial yet adorable and he proudly admits: “It’s got the most dislikes on the internet” to Sorry. We even got a little insight on his lifestyle when he tells that he gets so many Calvin Klein pants that he only wears a pair once and chuck them. And the best moment was Justin shielding James from the paparazzi, “he lives his life in a fishbowl, dude ! “
4. One direction
Tracklist: ‘What Makes You Beautiful’, ‘Story Of My Life’, ‘Best Song Ever’, ‘No Control’, ‘Perfect’, ‘Drag Me Down’
There is a saying that the more the merrier and it certainly got proved when the four stars of 1D joined James for a ride. You just know it’s gonna be amazing. Louis confessed a funny and crazy story of a woman who brought milk to his house when he tweeted that he couldn’t have a cup. The one directioners genuinely care for their stars. James even made them do a dance routine choreography on No Control’, complete with denim shirts remembering the good old days of earlier boy bands. James even does an incredible rap in the middle of Drag Me Down.
Tracklist: ‘Chandelier’, ‘Diamonds’, ‘Elastic Heart’, ‘Alive’, ‘Titanium’
The video couldn’t have a better start where Sia has to be guided into the car as she just couldn’t see anything because of her wig. They continue on singing some of the biggest songs she’s performed and written.James even try to learn her melody hooks, her ability to hit the high notes but you know it’s like her trademark, no one can copy that. Sia’s conspiracy theory of Aliens did freaked him a little bit though. She even showed off her weirdest talent of being able to carry a dozen eggs on the backs of her hands. Insane ! right ?
6. Gwen Stefani
Tracklist: ‘Don’t Speak’, ‘The Sweet Escape’, ‘Used To Love You’, ‘Rich Girl’, ‘Hollaback Girl’, ‘We Are The Champions’
James describes Gwen as a country music singer who happens to be an absolute hunk, going back in time and we couldn’t agree more. The singer is absolutely getting younger with time. Just look at her ! They continue on singing her amazing classics. Gwen expresses her love for Emojis and copy a few of them but was surprised to know that the eggplant emoji means something else altogether. You know what we are talking. And then George Clooney and Julia Roberts also joins them and they singalong to Hollaback girl. It was the best to watch.
7. Jennifer Lopez
Tracklist: ‘Love Don’t Cost a Thing’, ‘Booty’, ‘Jenny from the Block’, ‘Locked Out of Heaven’, ‘Qué Hiciste’, ‘On the Floor
This carpool karaoke session should be written down in the history. There have been some lingering doubts over her singing but she definitely got rid of all of them and proved how amazing of a singer she is. And then the talk about her booty being insured. Nope, it hasn’t been insured. She teaches him ridiculous music video dancing. She then sings to him in Spanish with so much passion that left James apologising on behalf of all men. The best part was when James got all excited about all the famous folks on J-Lo’s phone and texted Leonardo DiCaprio. And he even got a reply from Leo.
8. Demi Lovato & Nick Jonas
Tracklist: ‘Heart Attack’, ‘Chains’, ‘Stone Cold’, ‘Cake By The Ocean’, ‘Close’, ‘Jealous’, ‘Confident’

And then Demi spills out some juicy details of Nick’s dating life getting him mildly uncomfortable. But it’s all cool. And then the talk about the purity ring. Nick told a crazy fan story and the time he was tied up in chains in a gay club. Ahem ! The whole session was no less than a party. And then they took it to streets and even made a few dollars on the sidewalk.
Tracklist: ‘Same Old Love’, ‘Come And Get It’, ‘Hands To Myself’, ‘Kill Em With Kindness’, ‘Love You Like A Love Song’, ‘Shake It Off’
We definitely feel kind of bad for putting Selena so far down. Her music is great and we expected a lot more humour and vocals from her. But in comparison to other videos this is one of the few Carpool Karaokes that has failed to live up to our expectations. But there were some great moments when they rode on a terrifying roller coaster and when they even took ginger shots.
Tracklist: ‘Oops! I Did It Again’, ‘Womaniser’, ‘Make Me…’, ‘Toxic’, Baby One More Time’
Britney is one of the greatest singer Hollywood possess. But we can’t ignore there have been a few times when she is speculated to lip sync and mime to the songs while on stage. So, we felt that it was the perfect time for her to get rid of these allegations and astonish everybody with her many utter tunes and amazing voice. But it didn’t happen. She certainly did sing to a few of her classics of all time. There was a lot more expected from this star though.Read more

Experiment on 100 speed daters
Professor Richard Wiseman has proved that if you do fake love or pretend to love someone you end up feeling that way in reality. Leading a team of 100 speed daters it has been concluded that people who faked love eventually fell in love. The consequence was the result of some sensual and intense activities such as: making an eye contact for a long time, touching each other, sharing secrets. Whenever some one pretended to be in love, their chances of being liked by the other person increased, because these acts created an interest in meeting each other again and again.
“A modicum of pretence” does matter
Wiseman’s experiment that it is the mechanics due to which we fall in love. “A modicum of pretence” which usually happens in the beginning of every relationship is involved here. Besides this, the difference between the long-lasting relationships and short-term one is also “A modicum of pretence.” For instance sometimes you feel deep down loving somebody and you instantly show your affection and sometimes you just pretend to love or pretend to express your love because deep in your heart you do not want to hurt your partner and that makes your relationship alive. But if you too end-up behaving awfully, then it would only create complications. This happens in committed relationships, where you say “Whatever happens, I am not gonna leave you” or “I will love you even if you sometimes react horribly.”
Boost your relationship
So Wiseman’s method of speeding may appear fake to you as the initial meeting on a date feels creepy but just imagine that how would you feel if if you and the other person end up as a couple? Liked it? So love your partner deeply and bit faster. It will boost up your relationship and sometimes it is necessary.
Water crisis is one of the main debatable question in the world because water scarcity affects more than 40% of globally; by 2025 1.8 billion people will be living in regions with absolute water scarcity that is particularly acute in Central Asia.
In Central Asia water has long been a major cause of conflict. Central Asia broke free from the Soviet Union in 1991 without a regional water management strategy. The division of the area into five countries i.e. Turkmenistan, Kyrgyz Republic, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan was not done keeping in mind the possibility of such a crisis in the future. Total population on these countries was about 66 million in 2013–2014.
At the time of Soviet Union, there was a simple principle that energy rich Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan provide energy to Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan in the winter.
On the other hand, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, both rich in water resources, were supposed to provide water to the three countries.
Without water in the region’s two great rivers – the Syr Darya and the Amu Darya – the downstream agricultural powerhouses would cease to exist. Without power, life in the upstream countries would be torture in the crippling winters.
“The potential for disagreements always existed,” says Kazakh political scientist Rasul Jumali. “But disputes were always resolved by Moscow.”
Then with the downfall of USSR, the countries were left to face these water-energy crisis on their own.
They could have continued to share and for a few years they did but the energy-rich downstream countries found it economically better to sell surplus energy to other countries who gave them a higher price than their poor upstream neighboring countries.
So, in 2009 Uzbekistan started selling electricity to Afghanistan and pulled out of the Central Asian supply system altogether.
Another event that made matters worse was that Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan had started using more water to generate electricity in the winter, this caused an acute water shortage in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan as they didn’t get enough water for their population or crops.
When Uzbekistan withdrew from the central power supply system in 2009, Kyrgyzstan had to install expensive new power lines, and the cost of electricity roughly doubled at the start of 2010 in order to pay the bill. Domestic heating costs rose even more steeply.
There have been shortages in Uzbekistan too, in the wake of the decision to sell gas and electricity to foreign buyers.
Now, the current situation of central Asia is many small towns and villages people now live with just a few hours of power a day and the water scarcity.
