We all have grown up watching and crushing over The Disney Channel stars over the years that it is now hard to even imagine a world without these stars. Many of today’s biggest and most successful singers and actors have sprung from Disney, whether it was their popular sitcoms, The Mickey Mouse Club or the Disney’s biggest films.

Selena Gomez rose to fame as the leading role in the Disney channel series Wizards of Waverly Place (2007–12). Due to the success of the series, Gomez worked on various films, television shows, and musical collaborations for the network in the following years. And now, she is one of the most popular and well-known singing sensations. Her social media worth is almost 500,000$ per post.
2. Demi Lovato
Demi Lovato rose to prominence in 2008 when she started in the Disney Channel television film Camp Rock and signed a recording contract with Hollywood Records. In 2008, she debuted her album ‘Don’t Forget’ and in 2009, Lovato received her own Disney television series, Sonny with a Chance. Now, she is one of the most successful singer. Although, she has taken time off this year and is expected to return to the music biz next year.
3. Hilary Duff
Hilary Duff began her acting career at a young age, and quickly became a teen idol as the title character of the Disney Channel comedy series Lizzie McGuire (2001–2004). The series proved to be an instant hit. Duff later worked on numerous projects with the Disney Channel. As an actress and singer, Duff has received significant amount of fame and media attention over the years. She has been described by later Disney actresses as an inspiration.
4. Ryan Gosling
Ryan Gosling began his career as a child star on the Disney Channel’s Mickey Mouse Club (1993–95) and went on to appear in other family entertainment programs like Are You Afraid of the Dark? and Goosebumps. He then built a reputation for starring in independent films and came to the attention of a wider audience with movies like The Notebook and Blue Valentine.
5. Justin Timberlake
Justin Timberlake was just 12 when he got his big break on The Mickey Mouse Club in 1993. He became a part of NSYNC, one of the best-selling boy bands of all time after Lou Pearlman came across a tape of Timberlake on the Disney show. He has even established himself as one of the most commercially successful solo singers of the decade.
6. Britney Spears
Britney Spears was just eight years old when she first auditioned for The Mickey Mouse Club. Initially she was rejected for being too young, she stayed in New York and was finally cast in the show in 1992. Soon she raise to fame and became the biggest pop star of the world. She has sold 100 million albums and over 100 million singles worldwide making her one of the best-selling music artists of all time.
7. Christina Aguilera
Christina joined Disney’s The Mickey Mouse Club in 1993 when she was 12 years old. She appeared on the show for two years. In 1999, Aguilera gained worldwide fame with her debut single Genie in a Bottle. She even has been recognised as a pop icon and earned the title “Princess of Pop”. Her music has earned her five Grammy Awards, one Latin Grammy Award, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
8. Zac Efron
Zac Efron rose to prominence in the late 2000s for his leading role in the High School Musical franchise (2006–08) consisting of four Disney musical romantic comedy-drama films. He followed this with many commercially successful movies like 17 Again and Neighbours. He soon will be seen in his upcoming film Baywatch which also features Dwayne Johnson and Priyanka Chopra.
9. Vanessa Hudgens
Vanessa Hudgens rose to prominence playing Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical series. Hudgens has also appeared in various films and television series for the Disney Channel. She had mainstream success following the release of the High School Musical trilogy, Her appearance in the series helped make her a household name. Later, Hudgens has focused on her acting career.
10. Jonas Brothers
The Jonas Brothers gained popularity from their appearances on the Disney Channel television network. In the summer of 2008, they starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock and its sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. The band released four albums and had sold over 17 million albums worldwide. After the departure from Band Nick and Joe Jonas have recently made a great comeback as solo artists.
